Yumbo Gamification

The goal of Yumbo is to get you to be consciously aware of your nutritional health through persistent engagement. This is a difficult challenge because users tend to drop off engagement after a day, week, or month. For example, retention after 1 day for digital health apps is about 20%. Down to 8% after a week, and 4% after a month1,2.
When it comes to your long term health, it's critical to be persistent. Research shows that gamification of digital health has a positive impact 3.
Design
Yumbo's Gamification is a turn based RPG. The loot/itemization is inspired by Diablo II and the crafting system by Path of Exile.
NOTE: The gamification is still unfinished; the art, skills, sounds, michanics, etc... are incomplete, missing, or placeholders.Heroes
There are currently 3 hero classes:
Sorceress

Warrior

Ranger

Each class has 3 Skill Trees. When you level up, you gain +1 skill, +1 passive, and +5 attribute points. Below is an example of the Sorceress' Fire Skill Tree. (The Passive Tree is not yet implemented.)
At the top of the Skill Tree, is your Active Skill Bar. You can have up to 5 skills per Battle.
Character Attributes
Each of the attributes: Strength (str), Dexerity (dex), Vitality (vit), and Intelligence (int) enhances your character's abilities. Some gear will have a minimum str/dex/int requirements.
NOTE: Each class benefits differently from the attributes, eg a Warrior will get more life per Vit and a Sorceress will gain more mana per Int.
